The Qlik User Group held its third quarterly meeting on August 29th. The meeting covered the most recent trends and advances and discussed the tools and strategies used in Qlik to perform business tasks.
Nabeel Asif gave a detailed presentation of Qlik Answers, the latest add-in, showcasing its intuitive interface and advanced querying and data interpretation capabilities. A live demonstration highlighted how Qlik Answers can streamline decision-making through conversational analytics.
 

Additionally, Craig Harper provided a comprehensive technical breakdown of timestamp management and its critical role in data analysis. He explained how the event-specific time-stamping methodology was effectively applied to analyse Western Power’s outage events, showcasing how precise timestamps can enhance the accuracy of event tracking and improve response times in operational scenarios.

In the final Qlik User Group meeting segment, Sergey Makushynski presented a live demonstration of generating pixel-perfect Excel reports using the Qlik add-in for Excel. Attendees were shown how the add-in streamlines the creation of highly customised reports with precise formatting and seamless data integration, enhancing reporting efficiency for business users.
